My name is Joyous, My passion is working with individuals and families who suffer from moderate to extreme disorganization.
In 2018 I was offered the opportunity to serve as team member/organizer for A Clear Path in Los Angeles, California. This unique experience opened my eyes to the emotional care that is needed when assisting individuals and families with their personal spaces and belongings. My time with A Clear Path also taught me the necessary skills to help manage the impact that organizing often has on clients who struggle with Chronic Compulsive Acquiring.
I have a background in Early Childhood Education and over fifteen years experience in Private Estates. These combined experiences are what lead me to become a professional organizer. When working with clients, I often find myself drawing upon the tools used to create a productive classroom and the organizational skills acquired from working for top executives and high profile families in NYC and LA. I am currently a Provisional Member of NAPO and presently working on my CPO and Life Transitions Specialist Certification.
I strongly believe the experience of working with an organizer should be: integrated, authentic, rooted in the present, honoring of the change process, creative and fun. The main goal: To create long term solutions that provide space for peace and growth, while holding the client as the ultimate authority and expert on his/her life.
